A lone wanderer trudges across the ruinous sprawl of a gutted metropolis with nothing but a shopping cart to contain the remnants of a bygone world. Through mad-cap rituals he pieces together the scraps of a fractured existence to take refuge in a new imagined reality that is uniquely his own.

 
 

LANDSCRAPES is a rough and ready one-man-show in which circus arts, theatre and visual art are pitted against one another in an unlikely mash up of media. An amorphous narrative is enacted with the use of Aerial Straps, Roue Cyr, a skateboard, acrobatics, antique film projection, sculpture, sampled writing from Shakespeare to Notorious B.I.G., live action painting, dance and tomfoolery.
